Here you can search all of Redruth Town Council’s documents
Simply enter a keyword (e.g., “Library,” “Grant,” “Allotments”) into the search bar. This will search inside 1075+ public documents and show relevant results.
Is the council working for you?
You shouldn’t have to spend hours scrolling through hundreds of documents just to find out what the Town Council is doing with your money.
Right now, the Council’s records are buried in “unsearchable” files. If you want to know about a local planning decision, a budget update, or a repair in your park, it’s almost impossible to find the information quickly.
I built this search engine to change that. I believe a councillor’s job is to make life easier for residents, not harder. This tool is a small example of the practical, “can-do” approach I will bring to the Town Council. No more “that’s just the way it’s done” – just clear information so you can see exactly how decisions are made.
On March 26th, vote for a councillor who gets things done.
Legal & Transparency Notice
1. Public Record Status All documents hosted on this site are official records of Redruth Town Council. Under the Local Government Transparency Code, these documents are required to be public. By making them searchable, this site assists in fulfilling the accessibility requirements of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
2. Licensing & Re-use This archive is provided in accordance with the Local Government Transparency Code 2015, which mandates that local authorities publish financial and public record information under an open license for reuse. In the absence of a restrictive proprietary notice, these official records are treated as being available under the Open Government Licence v3.0. If you are a rights holder and believe this is in error, please contact [email protected]
3. Fair Use & Accuracy The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process – to turn scanned images of text into data – is highly accurate but not infallible. While this tool helps you find information quickly, I always recommend viewing the original PDF (provided in the search results) to ensure total context. This site is an independent archive and is not the official website of Redruth Town Council.
4. Candidate Statement This archive is maintained by Paddy Deakin, candidate for the upcoming Redruth North election. I believe that transparency shouldn’t be a request – it should be a default. By providing the tools for residents to “jump to their own conclusions” based on original public records, we foster a more honest local government.
